Welcome to Old & British and thank you for visiting. Like many people, I’ve spent hours on instagram poring over stunning vignettes; country kitchens, inglenooks, rustic beams, thatched roofs, antique furniture, English gardens and British stone cottages. So when I bought my small historic cottage, with all of its quirks and character, I knew I had to share it with others who love the aesthetic, just like me.
My 1890s former worker’s cottage will be the basis for this blog, but I’ll also be exploring all things old and British, from traditional architecture to bucolic vistas, pretty products and inspiring places along the way.
